This week, we were joined by Ashley MacQuarrie, VP of Marketing at Grow Schools, to discuss maintaining an engaging social media presence during summer break.
Here are this session’s top 3 tips, and watch the full conversation below:
- Reduce, don’t eliminate, your posting schedule. While it’s okay to post less frequently during summer, avoid going completely dark. If you normally post 3-4 times weekly, aim for 1-2 summer posts to maintain audience engagement.
- Plan and schedule content in advance. Use tools like Meta Business Suite to prepare and schedule summer posts before break begins. This “set it and forget it” approach maintains your presence even with limited staff.
- Repurpose your highest-performing content. Review analytics to identify your best posts from the past year, then refresh them for summer.
